Lang Yarns Jawoll
Lang Yarns Jawoll consists of 75% virgin wool and 25% polyamide. This classic sock yarn comes in more than 80 different colors and is made from high-quality wool from Patagonia in Chile. The wool is soft, lightweight, and comfortable to wear, and the yarn is highly resistant to pilling (knot formation). Each skein of yarn also includes a spool of reinforcing yarn to strengthen heels and toes in socks, making it an ideal choice for durable knitting projects.
Uses
Lang Yarns Jawoll is primarily intended for socks, but due to its durability, it is also particularly good for baby and children's clothing. The yarn can be machine washed at 40 degrees.
Product Advantages
- Soft and comfortable: Perfect for clothing that needs to be soft against the skin.
- Durable: Resistant to pilling, ensuring a long lifespan.
- Reinforced: Includes reinforcing yarn for extra strength in heels and toes.
Usage Tips
Lang Yarns Jawoll is easy to work with and suitable for both beginners and experienced knitters. From the maker: Lang
Jawoll - tried and tested a million times and for many years a sock wool classic - including reinforcement yarn for heels and toes to extend the life of your socks! LANGYARNS JAWOLL is the Rolls Royce of sockyarns. The wool is sourced from Corriedale sheep: for JAWOLL we only use wool of the finest provenance from Chilean Patagonia. During shearing the best parts of the fleece are selected and sorted out. The average thickness, the diameter of the fibre, is just 25 microns (1 micron = 1/1000 mm) so the wool feels very soft and is very comfortable to wear.
