These series are for all levels of weavers.  Clear instructions for new weavers, make your piece as elaborate as you’d like for more advanced weavers.  Bring your own loom or rent one of our Kromski Rigid Heddle Looms.

Weaving Series 2

November 6:

                  Warping your loom for a scarf.

November 13:

Continue with your scarf and learn the Leno technique. Leno weaving is a textile technique where warp threads (the vertical yarns) are twisted around each other before a weft thread (the horizontal yarn) passes through to lock the twist in place.

November 20:

Learn Interlocking Weft. The weft interlock is a tapestry weaving technique used to join two different blocks of color vertically without leaving an open slit.  Continue working on your scarf.

November 27:

Finish your scarf and learn more finishing techniques.
