The maker

Meet Lumos Lumos.

ONCE UPON A TIME... ...it was during a power outage while I was knitting a sweater. My son handed me his camper headlamp and said: "you need light to see, why don’t you use a special light for your craft?" And guess what? That headlamp actually worked just fine. When the power came back, I didn’t want to remove the headlamp, despite amusing faces. I could see better. I could knit better. That’s when I realized if I’m not using a proper light, I’m simply knitting in the dark. Power or no power. AT THAT MOMENT... ... I knew I was onto something. That idea to put light on your stitches could really mean something for so many crafters who have aging eyes, eye strain, eye health issues, who want to work on dark yarn or tiny stitches with small needles or who have just poor lighting at their home.
