Anne Weil left investment banking and started Flax & Twine as a craft blog in 2010, with projects later featured in Martha Stewart, Apartment Therapy and Elle Decor. She wrote Knitting Without Needles and Weaving Within Reach, then turned readers' requests for materials into all-in-one craft kits.
