Family-run spinning mill in western Nebraska that has made its own yarns since 1980, including well-known lines like Lanaloft and roving for spinners. It grew out of a sheep farm that has been in the Brown family for over 100 years.

Harlan Brown raised sheep on his family's Nebraska farm until low prices in the 1970s pushed him to learn wool processing; he started spinning yarn in 1980. His daughter Peggy Jo and her husband Robert Wells later joined, followed by their son Andrew and his wife Brittany in 2015.
